I hear the Miss Jessie’s salon is now closed, so I’m tempted to just buy the products and see what happens. But before I spend that much money, I wanna know if the products will work. Have any of you tried them at home and does it really curl your hair like the photos? Also, I’ve been natural for 5 years now, but I keep it pressed so its starting to lose some of its natural curl (particularly on the ends, the bottom inch of my hair is bone straight, but theres absolutely no perm in my hair) will the Miss Jessie products still make my hair curl?

  1. The only real way to know if a product will work for you is to try it. But I have never heard that anyone who used that products had hair that looked just like the pictures after using it.
Miss Jessie’s salon and products have been highly debated by people with natural hair. Half love it, half hate it. . You can go to http://www.nappturaliy.com and read the reviews in the commercial products forum. There is even a recipe (in the homemade products forum) for making your own curly pudding. Based on the reviews that I read, I opted not to buy it. It is too expensive for me to gamble with. They do have a new “trial” size jar that is available for half the price. That’s still to0 expensive for me though…lol….
    Hope this helps.
